From FutureNovo - Anticipating things to come
EventLines track events users deem relevant to specific anticipated technologies. Since every new technology is built upon the established discoveries and technologies that came before it, we want to track the events that would contribute to it. Through rankings, users are asked their thoughts about recent developments and whether or not they think them relevant to a particular forecast. If an event receives a sufficient combined ranking, it is added to the EventLine. By reviewing these advances and plotting them against specific forecast technologies, we hope to better judge the accuracy of the forecasts.
