From FutureNovo - Anticipating things to come

EventLine - A time line comprised of secondary events which may eventually lead to a primary event.

Forecast - A user's best estimate of when a primary event will occur, if at all.

FutureLine - A user-generated timeline forecasting the timing of future technologies.

FutureSnap - Historical "snapshots" of individual FutureLines and GroupLines.

GroupLine - An aggregatation of FutureLine data for the purpose of applying collective intelligence techniques to forecasts.

Primary event - A future event or technology which is included in FutureLine forecasts. (Also Projected Event.)

Projected event - See primary event.

Secondary event - An event or breakthrough which has already occurred. These are included in EventLines and may eventually contribute to the development of a primary event.
