The SIMILE Timeline was created by David Huynh under SIMILE, a joint project conducted by the MIT Libraries and MIT CSAIL.

The FutureLines at FutureNovo are generated using the SIMILE Timeline. In the course of reviewing timeline options for FutureNovo, the SIMILE Timeline was found to be so well conceived and implemented that it became the obvious choice. FutureNovo wishes to thank David Huynh for his excellent work. Thanks too to everyone who has contributed to the SIMILE Timeline project.

SIMILE stands for 'Semantic Interoperability of Metadata and Information in unLike Environments'. It is focused on developing robust, open source tools that empower users to access, manage, visualize and reuse digital assets. Learn more about the SIMILE project.
